circa: Early 1900s
A French copper Poissoniere with its metal sieve and brass handles, circa 1900. The beautifully patinated copper tub rises five inches, then curls out to form a rim. Curved tubular brass handles are attached on either end of the piece with simple rivets. The original sieve made for the pot is present, with pieced holes on the bottom and curled handles for lifting the fish right out. Great for storage or display.
Condition: Very good. One visible scratch on copper. Minor tarnishing.
