At the center of the plate are three dimensional asparagus with spare glazing in thin blue green tipped with purple, forming a trough to hold the vegetables. Framing the asparagus on either side are raised outlines of flowers Arts and Crafts style, with limy green and raspberry pink glazes. The rim of the plate has a lightly scalloped edge with raised foliage decoration. A gray-green glaze supplies the ground color.</p>
