A large industrial apothecary medicinal display cabinet vitrine in polished steel and glass, American circa 1940. The vertical steel frame houses glass sides and front, as well as glass shelves that rest on small steel tabs. A rounded steel lip caps the top of the piece. Brass lock and key secure the large door. The cabinet perches on Queen Anne style legs, which also support a single steel shelf at the bottom. The polished steel is is attractively tarnished and marked in spots, adding to the industrial look. It was electrified sometime after manufacturing with three halogen bulbs at the top.
Condition: Some tarnishing on the steel and surface scratches on the bottom shelf. Few scratches on the glass shelves and some small nicks at the corners from the metal supports. One glass shelf is missing, but easily replaceable.
