Vintage gilt bronze marble top side table in the Empire style, circa 1950. An ornate gilded bronze base with a peaked, heavily foliate gallery and fluted corinthian column legs culminating in clawed feet. The cruciform stretcher is graced with water leaf motif, and at its zenith is a stylized cone shaped finial. The oval shaped Verde Patricia marble is dark green and heavily veined with light green and off white.
Condition: Great vintage condition. Some verdigris on the sides and underside. A few superficial scratches on the marble top.
