origin: Ardeche Region
A well-worn carpenter's workbench etabli in beechwood, French circa 1920. The surface has tool marks from decades of use and a great patina. Various tool holes and two clamps built into the top, and a slat at the back for further tool storage. A large steel clamp on the left, just below the carved signature of the maker, Leon. The lower shelf has a pine bottom. There is a single drawer on the right that was a later addition. Would make a wonderful console. The table top is 17.5" deep. The drawer measures 7.5" wide, 11.5" long and 6" deep.
Condition: Great rustic condition, very sturdy. Lots of wear to the surface, with cut marks and holes for tools and clamps. The drawer is a later addition, the pine boards on the bottom and at back are redone.
