A pair of vintage painted wooden benches with simple iron bases, circa 1950. White washed oak planks, three to a bench, each with rounded ends. The frames were fashioned out of bent and joined strips of iron. They were fully painted in a brilliant azure blue, and subsequently weathered so that the blue is now a breezy accent. Rustic vintage construction with a contemporary feel, they will look great indoors or out. These benches previously lived in a courtyard of a private home in Beaujolais, where they received their aged appearance and weathered surfaces.
Condition: Weathered surfaces. One plank has a single plank replaced, but it is weatherd to the same extent as the others. The other bench has a reinforced repair to one plank. One leg is bent a bit just above the foot. Hardware has appropriate rusting for age and exposure.
