A fabulous mid-century brass and glass two tiered bar cart attributed to Maison Baguès, circa 1950. Fluted brass frame, legs and handles. Each end has its own decorated handle, fluted at the center with textred and gracefully curled scrolls that connect them to finials atop each leg. Both tiers have fluted brass galleries attached to the frame by brass spindles. The bottom shelf has a three count bottle holder connected to the gallery by scrolled brass work. Brass ball screws affix the frames and galleries to the legs. The cart rolls smoothly on four scroll-embellished brass wheels with rubber tires. Both tiers are 25" long and 15.25" wide. The glass is fixed and not removable. Floor to topshelf is 25", 9" to the lower shelf.
Condition: Some color variations on the brass, typical for its age and use. Light scratches on glass surfaces.
