Fabulous 12 light mid century brass and cut glass chandelier by Maison Lunel, circa 1950. Twelve brass boughs spring from the center, gently sloping out and down like long stem tulips. Painted black cones connect to cut glass tulip cups housing the bulbs. Twelve more thin black tubes sprout above, each with delicate little cut glass daisies gazing down at the lights. The central shaft is vase-like with a black body capped on either end by cut glass collars, the bottom ending in a polished brass ball finial. Among the daisies a smaller black cone and cut glass collar echos the design below. A brass shaft connects to a flush mount canopy at the top. Rewired to US standards. Recommended max of 25 watt candelabra bulbs, pictured with 15 watt. Adjustable chain and Canopy add 29.25" to fixture for a total height of 51.25".
Condition: Rewired to US standards. Some fading on the black paint and tarnishing on the brass, typical for its age. No breaks or chips to the glass.
