We're having a wonderful time on our spring buying trip in France. As always, France is gorgeous at this time of year...sunny days and some rainy days. We have put together a terrific container with some fabulous French antiques, vintage and mid-century pieces.

So far, we've found and purchased a delightful assortment of pieces, including beautiful sofas, Louis XIV armchairs, sunburst and venetian mirrors and so many more special items. It takes time to find exactly the right pieces to bring back with us, but we love the history and stories that each antique carries with it. See a few of the pieces on our blog with more to come!

Piece with a Story: 1940's French Dining Table

This elegant dining table is crafted of gorgeous ribbon mahogany. It has a double-edged top with a brass ribbon along the apron. Gorgeous tapered legs are finished with brass sabots. We purchased this in the Lyon region, and while its style hearkens back to the 1940s, this table would look absolutely fabulous in any modern dining room. We even have a set of 6 matching chairs, which feature moleskine-patterned vinyl studded into blond mahogany.

Announcing Our New Warehouse Location

Negrel Antiques’ warehouse which was located at the Courtyard Shops on Burnet Road is now closed.  We have moved into our wonderful new warehouse at Lamar Oaks just 1.5 miles from our store in Whit Hanks…less than 10 minutes away.

Negrel Antiques’ store in the Whit Hanks Antiques Center is open Monday-Saturday from 10:00 -6:00, and we invite you to continue to shopping with us at our store.  We will send out an email when the warehouse is officially open.

Note:  Driving south on Lamar Blvd. from Barton Springs Rd., take a Left at the light at West Mary...and drive straight into the driveway of Lamar Oaks Business Park past Custom Sounds and our warehouse will be on the right hand side in Suite F.
